Youngshil Paek


Graduate Research Assistant

Youngshil is an I-STEM graduate research assistant currently assisting with the NSF-funded eXtreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) project. She is currently working on her doctoral degree in Educational Psychology with a concentration in educational statistics and measurement.

Prior to joining I-STEM, Youngshil served as a research assistant for several projects in Special Education at Illinois by assisting with statistical analysis and research methods. She also has over seven years of professional experience as a researcher in the Center for Educational Statistics at Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI). Her research interests include parameter estimation in item response theory and applications of statistical methods in educational research.
